🌷 Origami Flowers: Lily vs. Iris

Hi Reader,
As we move towards the end of summer, nature is still sharing vibrant blooms with us. Some flowers, like the irises, are even blooming a second time. The other day, I stumbled upon a spectacular white iris in the park, which inspired this week's newsletter. Flowers have always been a beloved topic for origami artists. Today, I'm excited to share two traditional origami flowers we've just added to our site. Both folds are almost identical, but the iris has an extra step (a simple swivel fold) that makes all the difference in how it turns out. Try starting with the lily, then move on to the iris to really see the contrast. Happy folding!
