Hi Reader,
The past few days were a little tough. My son wasn’t feeling well and needed lots of attention, which meant there wasn’t much quiet time left in the day.
But each night, once he drifted off to sleep, I’d make myself a cup of tea, sit down, and start folding. Just me, the paper, and a quiet moment away from screens and the rush of the day.
That’s what I love most about origami. No matter how busy or noisy life gets, it always brings me back to a peaceful place.
And that’s the feeling behind this month’s folds. Calm, creative moments you can make your own. – Saki
🍽️ Origami at the Table

You’ll also find a new 101 workshop by Nick Robinson, Origami Dishes and Design, exploring how simple folds can turn paper into beautiful, functional forms.

🌿 Origami Inspirations
This week’s inspiration comes from David A. Pacheco, a member of the Origami Circle who loves exploring every corner of origami, from animals and masks to geometric folds and tessellations. David enjoys creating compositions that tell a story. This peaceful origami scene captures movement, simplicity, and emotion. You can almost hear the wind in it.

Before I wrap up, a little update. I’ll be focusing on a new project for a while, so Flo will be taking over the newsletter from the next edition.
I know he’ll bring the same care and passion we both share for origami.
