Last week, we published a new tutorial for this traditional origami sea turtle, and I wanted to share it with you.

It’s a beginner-friendly model with a flat shape that works especially well for cards or small decorations. The sequence starts from a classic bird base and stays approachable throughout.

Near the end, there’s a small cut used to form the back flippers. If you’d rather avoid cutting, we also have another turtle tutorial on the site that’s a bit more advanced.
