Hi Reader,
I’ve got a little bundle of spring goodness for you today, just in time for Easter. A bunny, a chick and a basket you can fill, and a cheerful hen are waiting to be folded. I hope they bring a lot of fun to your weekend, whether you’re crafting solo or with family.
You’ll also find a brand new PDF Library we’ve put together just for you. It’s a small way to say thank you for being part of our little origami community.
And one more thing: we’ve been quietly growing our YouTube channel over the past two months. We’ve published more than 20 videos already! It’s still a slow start, but I’m hopeful. If you enjoy the content and want to support us, I’d be so happy to see you there (and maybe even get a new subscriber or two 😊).
Oh, and don’t miss the end of this email. I have a little story to share… it involves a volcano, a missed photo, and a very special dragon 🐉

In our last newsletter, I teased a photo from Japan because I knew something special was coming. We’ve been quietly working on a new project with Sébastien Limet, and I’m thrilled to finally tell you about it: a stunning dragon model he created exclusively for Origami.me. I’ve been carrying it around (literally), and I can’t wait to share the diagrams with you soon.
Now, about that photo. Last week, we took a little family trip to Kagoshima, where the Sakurajima volcano still rumbles from time to time. Just as we arrived, it sent a beautiful plume of ash into the sky, like it knew I had Sébastien’s dragon tucked in my backpack. It would have been the perfect shot... but our toddler needed a nap, and by the time we got back, the volcano had quieted down.
So instead, we took this picture in Minami Aso, not far from another volcano. The moss was lush and bright from the rain, and with the flowers in bloom all around, it felt like the perfect spring stage for our little dragon.
Wherever you are, whether spring is blooming or autumn is gently arriving, I hope the season is bringing you peace, color, and a little time to fold. 💚
